MacBook Air Offers Two Versions

The new MacBook Air is available in two forms, the eleven inch version and the thirteen inch version. Each offers its own advantages and disadvantages, however, it is nice for the consumers to have an option when choosing the MacBook Air. Apple has declared that these products are the best option for those that would rather have a laptop, but with the added benefit of functioning like the Apple iPad. And from random reviews, this statement is in fact true, which does increase the likelihood that the new MacBook Air will be a hit with consumers.

For those that are deciding between which version of the MacBook Air to get. There are a few things that they should know about the two versions. First off, the eleven inch MacBook Air offers a battery charge of around five hours. However, the thirteen inch version offers a battery life of around seven hours.

The eleven inch version is much smaller than the thirteen inch version, in fact, the US Transportation Security Administration, this version does not need to be unpacked when going through airport security. The thirteen inch on the other hand, does have to be unpacked. So for those that frequently travel, the eleven inch version could be a time saver in the end.

Both versions offer what many consider to be some of the fastest response time after being asleep for an extended period of time. In addition, both versions still work as Apple has explained that they do, and are very easy to function with. Giving the small size, many consumers worried that typing on the machine would be extremely hard, however, after trying most agree that this aspect does not cause any problems.

The disadvantages of both machines is that they will require a flash drive if you save many files. Which is something that people should consider before purchasing, as it will be a piece of equipment that you will have to carry around with you, though on the upside, the flash drive is usually extremely small.

So which book is better? The answer really depends upon how the consumer plans to use the book. For those that travel frequently, the eleven inch version is going to prove to be more beneficial. However, for those that are just looking for a secondary book to use in the event that they have no access to their laptop, then the thirteen inch will fit the bill. In either situation, if the user finds that they do frequently watch videos, save files and whatnot, then they are going to need the capabilities that a full fledged laptop can only offer. However, having one of the MacBook Air's on the side is a great benefit, as it can go places that normal laptops can not go.
